NOTICE OF PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM FOR RESOLUTION #44 OF 2025 AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A WATER METER REPLACEMENT RESERVE 

UP TO THE AMOUNT OF $1,000,000,

SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that on October 28, 2025, the Voorheesville Board of Trustees duly adopted Resolution #44 of 2025 authorizing the establishment of a Water Meter Reserve Fund, and

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that said Resolution is summarized as follows:

By such resolution, the Voorheesville Board of Trustees hereby authorizes the establishment of a WATER METER RESERVE FUND to accumulate moneys towards a specific capital improvement, a future water meter replacement project. The maximum amount of the Reserve is up to $1,000,000, 

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that the Resolution summarized herein is on file at the Clerk’s Office, Village Hall, 29 Voorheesville Avenue, Voorheesville, NY where it is available for public inspection; and

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that said resolution is subject to permissive referendum, and a petition opposing said Resolution must be filed within 30 days after adoption of the Resolution.
